Modification to a Previously Approved Subdivision Permit

What is the process?

Step 1: Identify the Original Map Number

Identify the original map number.  

Step 2: Complete the Land Division Application

Step 3: Assemble the Other Required Documents

Step 4: Submit Application Online

*Digital Copies are now required with submission

1. Access the PermitSLO/CSS Portal

2. Click on Apply on the third tile on the top.

3. Select “Planning Applications” on the top bar.

4. Click the "Apply" button next to "Subdivision Application".

5. Log In or lick on Register, to submit the application online.

6. Upload a completed Land Division – Checklist & Application Package and required documents.


*** Please ensure all documents reflect the original map number. ***

Step 5: Pay Invoice

Planning staff will email the applicant an invoice, which the applicant can pay online here*.

*Make sure to add INV to the invoice number (e.g. INV2022-01234), when searching for the invoice online.

Once the invoice is paid, the project review timeline will begin.

Step 6: Reach Decision

Staff considers the application and reaches a decision to either approve, or deny the modification.

This service is available throughout the year during regular business hours except during scheduled holidays.
