An optional Public Comment Period for the First Annual Report was open until February 14, 2020. The Report will be updated based on input and brought to the Paso Basin Cooperative Committee at their March 18, 2020 Regular Meeting to consider recommending for submission to DWR by the April 1, 2020 deadline.

On November 20, 2019, the Paso Basin Cooperative Committee voted unanimously to recommend the Paso Basin GSP for adoption by the four Paso Robles Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs).

The GSP was adopted by the four GSAs on the following dates:

  • San Miguel Community Services - November 21, 2019
  • Shandon-San Juan Water District - November 21, 2019
  • City of Paso Robles - December 17, 2019
  • County of San Luis Obispo - December 17, 2019

The final, adopted GSP was submitted to DWR by the January 31, 2020 SGMA deadline. DWR posted the Paso Basin GSP to the DWR SGMA Portal for a 75-day public comment period spanning January 31, 2020 to April 15, 2020.

Note: Public comments and additional GSP comments on the previous GSP Drafts are located here. Appendix N was updated on 11/15/2019 at 12:00 p.m. to include all public comments received through September 29, 2019.
