FY 2019 Continuum of Care Program Competition
The federal Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is designed to promote a community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; to provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, States, and local governments to quickly re-house homeless individuals, families, persons fleeing domestic violence, and youth while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness; to promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and to optimize self-sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness.
The County is holding a local Request for Proposals for agencies interested in applying for Continuum of Care funds. The County has approximately $883,311 for Renewal Projects, $115,568 for new Bonus Projects, and $140,196 for new Domestic Violence Bonus Projects. Applications will be submitted through an online portal called e-snaps, and are due by 9:00 a.m. on July 30, 2019. To view the local RFP, click here.
