Services & Strategies Committee
The Services and Strategies Committee is an advisory committee to the San Luis Obispo County Workforce Development Board (WDB). The Committee supports the America’s Job Center of CA (AJCC) of San Luis Obispo, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program, and local workforce system partners to assess the effectiveness of the workforce system in delivering responsive services that meet the needs of SLO County residents and employers.
The Services and Strategies Committee works to maintain partnerships that build workforce development capacity throughout SLO County. The Committee also provides feedback and develops strategies that ensure the AJCC system provides access to comprehensive services, and referrals to services, in a seamless, integrated, effective and efficient manner. The Committee includes a focus on ensuring that special populations and individuals with disabilities have adequate access to workforce development services in SLO County. The Services and Strategies Committee meets on the second Tuesday of odd months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) @ 2:00 PM. *
