We are looking for images highlighting the scenic diversity of San Luis Obispo County. Selected images will be published in the 2025 Emergency Planning Calendar.

The County Office of Emergency Services is looking for images highlighting the scenic diversity of San Luis Obispo County to be included in our 2025 Emergency Planning Calendar. 

This calendar is one of the ways we meet our federal requirements for distributing emergency information to communities around the Diablo Canyon Power Plant.The calendar provides important information related to Diablo Canyon Power Plant including information on protective actions that may be directed, public alert and notification systems, evacuation information and transportation assistance and information about radiation, as well as other related information. 

More than 100,000 calendars will be distributed to homes around the county. The beautiful photos submitted and included in the calendar help us ensure that people retain their calendars for the important emergency information in it contains.
