Deputy Agricultural Commissioner

Under direction from the Assistant Agricultural Commissioner and/or Agricultural Commissioner, interprets and enforces applicable rules and regulations; plans, organizes, and directs work in assigned programs and staff; performs a variety of administrative duties and specific tasks. This is a first-line supervisor, program supervisor, and/or technical expert responsible for the day-to-day activities of assigned programs and personnel, may be in charge of a district office, and does other related work as required.
