David Platek Charged with Felony Identity Theft for using Fake Facebook Account

District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that David William Platek has been charged with felony identity theft for impersonation of Kevin P. Rice on Facebook. Platek is alleged to have used a fake account as Kevin P. Rice to publish false statements intending to damage Kevin P. Rice's reputation.
Man Sentenced to Prison for Solicitation of Murder Using ‘Dark Web’ Internet

District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that Beau Evan Brigham (33) has been sentenced to three years in State Prison for the solicitation of the murder of his stepmother who lives in San Luis Obispo. He was found guilty by a San Luis Obispo County jury on August 14, 2019.
