Shortly before 5:00pm, a San Luis Obispo County jury returned guilty verdicts on all 13 counts including sexual crimes and burglary involving five female victims, including four college students, from San Luis Obispo.

Chelsea A. Stiles (27) has been ordered to serve 15 years and eight months in state prison for her conviction of multiple offenses including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, which resulted in the death of Terry Tilton (72) of San Luis Obispo.

District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that Joy Wilde (DOB 04/16/1978) has been sentenced to serve 10 years and four months in state prison following her plea of no-contest to 18 counts of embezzlement, two counts of forgery and one count of attempted embezzlement.

Today, District Attorney Dan Dow sent a letter to the California Senate Public Safety Committee in opposition to SB 82 that will reduce the violent felony of unarmed robbery to a misdemeanor with a maximum punishment of six months actual custody in a county jail.

District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that Edgar Saul Rojas Morales (25) has been sentenced to 15 years-to-life in prison for his conviction of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated with two prior convictions for DUI and other felonies related to the death of Maria Rosas Medina (82) of Santa Maria on December 1, 2018.
