San Luis Obispo County Superior Court to Host Community Law Day Event May 4, 2023

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the San Luis Obispo County Superior Court will host a variety of Community Law Day activities from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Courthouse located in downtown San Luis Obispo.

Law Day is observed to celebrate the role of law in our society and to cultivate a deeper understanding of the legal profession.  Law Day activities are free and open to the public.  This event will include presentations by judges on various areas of the law including civil, criminal, family law, and mental health treatment courts.  Please enter the building through the entrance located at 1050 Monterey Street.

The District Attorney’s Office as well as other legal services providers, including the Grand Jury, will be on hand to offer resource materials and information to the public.  The Morro Bay High School Mock Trial Team will also perform a mock trial for attendees.
