Driving Under the Influence Programs


The Behavioral Health Department has fully re-opened all of our locations for in person and walk-in care. At this time, masks are required at all of our facilities, even for people who have been fully vaccinated. Visit SLOPublicHealth.org for the latest COVID-19 updates. 

Effective March 6, DUI programs will operate Monday – Thursday. DUI enrollment appointments are currently only available during the walk-in locations and hours listed on the main DUI web pagePlease Note: the Paso Robles Drug and Alcohol clinic will be closed for DUI enrollments Wednesday, July 5, 2023. 

Who can use this service?

It is your responsibility to enroll in a program that meets the requirements for both the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the Court. The DMV Mandatory Action Unit can be contacted at (916)-657-6525.

When and where is this service offered?

While Driving Under the Influence program sessions are available at all Drug & Alcohol Services locations, enrollment appointments are currently only available during the walk-in locations and hours below:

As of March 6, 2023, walk-in appointments are currently taking place at the following clinic locations:

  • San Luis Obispo Drug and Alcohol Services, 2180 Johnson Ave
    • Monday 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm
  • Paso Robles Drug and Alcohol Services, 805 4th Street
    • Wednesday 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm

Sessions are held in the daytime and evening hours to accommodate program participants as best as possible. Please contact the specific locations for the current schedule of classes and group sessions.
