Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Presentations

Our presentations educate individuals on safety skills while emphasizing the importance of physical activity and the health and environmental benefits of walking and riding. Led by experienced Health Education Specialists, these engaging sessions typically last 30-45 minutes and are tailored for students in grades K-6.

Students in need are provided bike helmets free of charge, and all presentations and materials are available in both English and Spanish. To schedule a presentation, please contact us or call 805-781-4944.

Helmets

Everyone in California under the age of 18 must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Wearing a helmet can reduce the risk of head injury by as much as 85%.

To ensure accessibility, we offer a limited number of helmets to community members in need. Contact us for more information on obtaining a helmet or to schedule a fitting. Use our easy-to-follow guidelines to fit your helmet yourself.
