This service allows you to verify County employment. Verification of employment may be requested in writing or by telephone in accordance with Human Resources Department policy.
Who can use this service?
Credit bureaus or business establishments may request employment verification as described above upon written authorization of the employee.
Anyone can request general information for an employee including the employing department, job title, and salary range.
Is there a charge for this service?
This service is provided free of charge.
What is the process?
Step 1: Type of Employment Verification Information
Credit Bureaus and business establishments can request the following employment information upon written authorization of the employee:
- Length of employment, including actual start date
- Employee status: permanent, probationary, temporary
- Job title
- Salary range
- Salary steps
General information may be requested by anyone in response to specific questions, including:
- Employing department
- Specific job title
- Salary range for the classification only
