Huasna Townsite Bridge Replacement
The project will replace the Huasna Townsite Bridge over Huasna River. The project is at the south end of the Huasna Valley, near the intersection of Huasna Townsite Road and Huasna River Road. The bridge collapsed during the January 2023 flooding.
The new bridge project will likely be a reinforced concrete structure and will replace the existing bridge in its same location. A temporary crossing will be constructed to allow access to the area while the new bridge is design and constructed. The replacement project is funded through the Federal Highway Bridge Program.
