The Veterans Outreach Program is provided by the Behavioral Health Program and part of the Mental Health Services Act plan.  Rehabilitative activities and counseling services are provided through various physical and rehabilitative activities for veterans and their families throughout the year in many locations. 

Some activities, including hiking, kayaking, and horseback riding, are safe, culturally appropriate, prosocial opportunities for the Department's Veterans Services Therapist to engage veterans – who are unlikely to seek mental health care through clinic settings.
