Student Elections Ambassador Program

Application deadline for 2026-27 is June 15 at 5pm!
SLO County's Student Elections Ambassador Program pairs high school students with Elections staff and LWVSLO advisors, so that participating students get the training, tools, and inspiration to create their own voter registration efforts.
Based on a program created in Marin County, SEAP is rooted in the idea that civic-minded young adults can and should take an active role in encouraging their peers to register. With advisors' guidance and support, SEAP participants can use their skills and creativity to reach and motivate their peers using an established model or something entirely their own.
