Meet Pepper, a mellow five-year-old girl who loves her walks and adventures away from the shelter.
Meet Pepper! She is a mellow five-year-old girl who has been working on her waistline and is doing great. She has already lost 23 pounds! Pepper arrived as a stray and was never claimed. She requires a daily thyroid pill which she happily takes.
Pepper enjoys her field trips away from the shelter. She rides well in the car loves her walks but is easy to settle down and wait for her next adventure. She behaves herself when out for walks but can be picky about her doggie friends and would do best as an only dog. Pepper appears to be housetrained and would love a family who will take her for nice long walks, play with her in the yard or just chill in the house.
She may seem shy at first but once she gets to know you, she enjoys attention and will even give you a nose bump when she wants you to keep petting her.
