Meet Duke, a sweet and polite three-year-old Australian Shepherd who loves to snuggle and is great with kids.

Duke loves people and attention.  He will roll over for a belly rub and is very attentive. He walks well on leash and loves to get a cuddle from his people in his kennel and while out on walks. He knows “sit” and “shake.” His previous owner said Duke is great with kids too.  

Duke was brought to the shelter for arguing with his sister, but he has been very well behaved while at the shelter.  Sometimes siblings will do that. He would do best in a home without small dogs, cats, or chickens because he thinks they are fun to chase.  

During Duke's recent visit in the park, he was a great boy.  He was polite and ignored other dogs.  He was not bothered by kids, soccer balls or skateboards and had a great time enjoying the beautiful SLO weather.
