The team connects eligible children with physical therapy, occupational therapy and specialized equipment.
Physical therapy is primarily provided to address mobility and ambulation needs. Occupational therapy helps individuals perform daily living and work skills independently (for example, learning dressing and self-feeding skills).
The program also provides recommendations for specialized equipment, such as orthotics/braces, wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
No, there is no financial eligibility requirement for MTP.
MTP offices are located in every county in California; if you move within the state, your child's case can simply be transferred to the new location.
