Arroyo Grande Library Remodel
The Arroyo Grande Library Remodel project is slated to start in February 2026 with expected completion at the end of the year. The original Library was built in 1979 and has only had some minor improvements. The current remodel project will update the interior of the space as well as provide some much needed safety upgrades like Fire Sprinklers, Fire alarm system, ADA improvements for accessibility, mechanical equipment & plumbing fixture replacements, and incorporate some additional staff office space and a designated Veteran’s Services space. Quincon Inc. out of Grover Beach was awarded the project in December 2025 by the Board of Supervisors, and Young Construction Services will construction manage the project for the County.

Project Schedule
- Currently, the project is slated to start construction in February 2026
- Expected completion of the project in 10 months or sometime in December 2026
- Upon construction completion, the Library staff will install the shelving and furniture and return the books from storage to the newly remodel library.
