Oceano Memorial Park Playground Replacement, Oceano
This project will provide new playground equipment and walkway improvements to Oceano Memorial Park.
The existing playground structures are approximately 25 years old and need replacement. This project will provide new playground equipment and engineered wood fiber surfacing to provide enhanced safety features to the playground. The new playground has also been designed to correct an existing drainage problem that results in flooding of the playground area during the rainy season.

New benches and walkways will be added adjacent to the new playground, and all walkways within the park will be upgraded to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The design and permitting of the project was completed in November 2025, and construction is scheduled to begin in February 2026.
