Santa Rita Creek Road over Old Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Cayucos
The project proposes replacing the existing 85-year-old timber and concrete bridge on Santa Rita Road over Old Creek with a new concrete bridge.
The purpose of the project is to improve public safety along this portion of the roadway as the existing bridge has reached the end of its service life. The bridge is an obsolete timber bridge and a failing concrete deck. Temporary repairs continue to be made to the bridge to keep it open, but replacing the bridge is a better long-term solution.
