County of San Luis Obispo Reports Upgraded Bond Ratings
Fitch Ratings has recently upgraded San Luis Obispo County’s Pension Obligation Bonds series 2003A, 2003C, 2009A, General Obligation (GO) ratings and Lease Revenue Refunding Bonds Series 2012A from AA to AA+, as well as Implied GO rating from AA+ to AAA.

County of San Luis Obispo Receives National Budget Award
San Luis Obispo County is pleased to announce that The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the County a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 budget document. This is the third consecutive year that the County has received this prestigious award. In FY 2012-13, the County was one of only nine California counties, and the smallest to receive the award.

2013 Annual Crop Statistics Released
The ag industry in SLO County continues to be a major contributor to the county's prosperous economy. 2013 was a record breaking year for agriculture for overall crop values, despite unusual weather conditions and the continued drought.
