Unsecured Property Taxes must be paid on or before August 31, 2022.

Unsecured Property Tax Bills were recently mailed. Unsecured property taxes are taxes on such items as business equipment, boats, and airplanes. These taxes are a lien against the assessee, not against real estate. The assessed owner as of January 1, 2022 is responsible for paying these bills, even if they sell or otherwise dispose of the property after January 1, 2022.
