Running for Public Office
This service provides information on how an individual may run for public office. A candidate information booklet is published specific to each election. Candidate information booklets for recent elections and declarations regarding qualifications to run for office are available in the Reference section.
Generally, a candidate must be a registered voter and otherwise qualified to vote for the office they are seeking, to use this service.
Depending on the office, there may be candidate filing fees required. Fees for any given office/election (if any) are listed in the candidate information booklet specific to that election.
