- The Elections Office has no legal authority and is not trained to investigate allegations of election, candidate, or voter fraud. To report an incident of alleged fraud, contact the State Fraud and Investigations Unit, 916-657-2166 or 1-800-345-VOTE, or use the Secretary of State's Voter Complaint Form. You can also contact the SLO County District Attorney.

Randomized Alphabet and Candidate Rotation Information
- The California Secretary of State and San Luis Obispo County will conduct their respective random alphabet draws at 11:00 am on August 13, 2026. San Luis Obispo's local draw is conducted at our office, located at 1055 Monterey Street, Suite D120 in San Luis Obispo. The public is invited to observe both processes.
