10.8 Shaving Pursuant to Section 1487

- Both males and females shall have access to safety razors and shall be allowed to shave. Male youth shall be allowed to shave their faces daily. Female youth shall be allowed to shave their underarms and legs once per week.
- The ability to shave may be suspended if a youth is considered to be at risk to harm himself/herself or others.
- Officers shall follow the Shaving/Finger Nail Clipper Procedure at all times.
