Update on County Offices and Facilities
As of 6/1/2020:
At this point in time, most County offices are open for business; but a few are providing limited public services or services by appointment only. In addition, many public counters are open, and the remaining public counters will open by the end of the month.
Under State restrictions, local libraries remain closed at this time. However, curbside service to pick up books is available. Check the Libraries page for the latest information and find out how to get books.
To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we continue to ask that you complete transactions over the phone and online whenever possible. If these approaches will not work for specific problems you are encountering, please call the department providing the service and make an appointment before coming to County facilities. This will help alleviate your frustration. Please note that anyone who arrives at County facilities exhibiting clear signs of illness may be asked to leave the premises. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding at this time.
The County is following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines as it reopens its offices. For more information, look at our Reopening Toolkit.
