Permanent County employees receive comprehensive benefits as part of their total compensation package.
The County pays a 'Cafeteria' contribution, which is a fixed dollar amount that can be applied toward employee medical, dental, and vision premiums that varies by an employee's bargaining unit (BU). Employees will be required to contribute to their insurance if the cost of insurance premiums exceeds the cafeteria contribution. Employees may also elect optional coverage at their own expense.
