Tri-County Regional Energy Network (3C-REN)
3C-REN (Tri-County Regional Energy Network) is a partnership between the Counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura established to deliver energy-efficiency programs and industry trainings that help reduce energy use, strengthen local job markets, and support efforts to achieve climate goals.
For households and businesses, 3C-REN offers energy saving incentives, with an emphasis on hard-to-reach and underserved communities.
Serving multiple sectors with diverse services, 3C-REN responds to the energy efficiency needs of the local community.

The Central California Rural Regional Energy Network (CCR REN)
The County of San Luis Obispo (SLO) Planning and Building Department is the Portfolio Administrator for CCR REN and is responsible for coordinating with partners to implement programs, hiring program implementors, and completing reporting requirements. CCR REN is funded by California utility ratepayers under the guidance of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
CCR REN supports an equitable and affordable clean energy transition for underserved communities. By leveraging regional collaboration, trusted local relationships, and promoting pragmatic responses to community needs, the CCR REN will support communities that have historically not participated in energy efficiency programs. CCR REN brings clean energy practices and programs to our three regions of California: Central Coast, Eastern Sierra, and San Joaquin Valley.
