San Luis Obispo Airport (SBP) celebrates new flight to Denver (DEN) with a ribbon cutting and wine tasting event on June 7th at ACI Jet Center.
The County of San Luis Obispo and its partners celebrated the start of new non-stop service between San Luis Obispo and Denver (DEN) in the evening of June 7th, 2017 at ACI Jet Center.
Participants gathered for remarks from Airport Director Kevin Bumen, County of San Luis Obispo District 3 Supervisor Adam Hill, Visit SLO CAL President and CEO Chuck Davison, and United Airlines sales manager Michael Burny. The festivities concluded with a ribbon cutting, and wine tasting.
All in attendance were thrilled for the new flight. Airport Director Kevin Bumen noted that this new destination "Speaks to our tireless effort to grow our service and provide the region with world-class connectivity through a first-class airport."
The Mile-High City is now the second new destination for the San Luis Obispo Regional Airport (SBP) to start in two months, the first being Seattle, which started on April 14th.
