Transportation network company Lyft now authorized at San Luis Obispo Airport.
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA — The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP) will now permit Lyft drivers to pick up and drop off at the airport. It is the second transportation network company (TNC) to operate at SBP.
“We are pleased to provide an additional ground transportation option for our passengers,” said Kevin Bumen, Director of Airports. “We look forward to adding Lyft to the current roster of TNCs, taxis, limos and shuttle bus services.”
Transportation network company Uber began service at SBP last year. Like Uber, Lyft drivers will pick up and drop off riders at the white curbs in front of the terminal, and operate from off airport locations at all other times.
Whatever your preferred mode of transportation, the airport is providing additional reasons to visit: nonstop service to Seattle on Alaska Airlines began April 13, 2017, and nonstop service to Denver on United Airlines begins June 8.
