About Us
The Public Health Department promotes, preserves and protects the health of all San Luis Obispo County residents through disease surveillance, health education, direct services, and health policy development.
Department Structure
The Public Health Department is a division within the Health Agency. It consists of a team of trained health and administrative support professionals, organized within 6 divisions (plus administration). A departmental org chart with an outline of these divisions can be found here.
