Launch Tool to lookup water well permit data for which construction has not yet been completed or for water wells which have been recently constructed. This dashboard is updated on a weekly basis. 

This dataset includes 2 years (from date of update) of completed and pending water well permit applications (based on the application date) submitted to the County of San Luis Obispo Environmental Health Services (EHS).  Please note that when a filter is set to a specific year, the results may only represent a partial year and not a full calendar year of permits.

• Completed - well construction completed (but could be awaiting well completion report and/or water quality report)
• Pending - a well construction application has been filed but construction not completed

Reported Water Quality Testing Results

As of January 1, 2018, the well owner/well driller is required to test the water quality of their newly constructed well and submit the results to Environmental Health Services. The following spreadsheet only includes reported water quality results that exceeded the maximum contaminant level (mcl) for at least one of the chemicals that are tested at the laboratory. Please note that the reported results only represent the water quality for when the water sample was taken, each Well Permit ID can have multiple rows of testing results, and this spreadsheet is updated monthly. Environmental Health Services is in the process of creating a dataset for all water quality testing reports including those with and without exceedances.
