Public Works will re-open our front counter to the public on July 6 and start providing some modified services.  Our hours will be 8 – 5, with closure from 12 – 1:30 for sanitation. Masks are mandatory in our building, and we ask that you adhere to physical distancing protocol. Activation of Traffic Signal at South Bay Boulevard and Nipomo Avenue

The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will be activating the new traffic signal at the intersection of South Bay Boulevard and Nipomo Avenue, Los Osos.


The signal is scheduled to start functioning on Friday, June 6, 2019 at approximately        10:00 a.m.

Drivers should anticipate delays as the Contractor and County staff test the system and make adjustments as needed. Please refer to the attached map for the project location.

Lee Wilson Electric Company, Inc. of Arroyo Grande was awarded the contract to perform the work in the amount of $345,473. The Project is funded by Urban State Highway Accounts, Los Osos Road Improvement Fee Funds, and the San Luis Obispo County Road Funds.
