Public Works will re-open our front counter to the public on July 6 and start providing some modified services.  Our hours will be 8 – 5, with closure from 12 – 1:30 for sanitation. Masks are mandatory in our building, and we ask that you adhere to physical distancing protocol. Groundwater Sustainability Commission Special Meeting

The Groundwater Sustainability Commission (GSC) for the San Luis Obispo Valley Groundwater Basin invites basin users and interested community members to attend a public meeting to initiate the development of a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP).

The purpose of the GSP is to sustainably manage our groundwater resources and meet the requirements of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

All interested stakeholders and members of the GSC are encouraged to participate to help guide the GSP development process. 

The GSC will host the public meeting on the following date:

This meeting will provide an opportunity to learn about the following topics and provide initial input on:

•    SGMA efforts in the San Luis Obispo Valley Groundwater Basin

•    Discussions on stakeholder advisory committee formation
