Traffic Signalization Improvements at South Bay Boulevard and Nipomo Avenue, Los Osos

The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will begin construction of a traffic signal at the intersection of South Bay Boulevard at Nipomo Avenue in Los Osos. Work is scheduled to start on March 25, 2019 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Work will continue into mid-May, dependent upon weather.

For the safety of the public and workers, traffic control cone delineation and flagging is anticipated. Motorist are advised to adjust their travel plans and consider alternative routes. Please refer to the attached map for the project location.

Lee Wilson Electric Company, Inc. of Arroyo Grande has been awarded the contract to perform the work in the amount of $345,473. The Project is funded by Urban State Highway Accounts, Los Osos Road Improvement Fee Funds, and the San Luis Obispo County Road Funds.
