Road Work to Conduct Utility Potholing on Los Berros Road, Arroyo Grande

The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will conduct exploratory potholing to locate underground utilities on Los Berros Road between Quailwood Lane and North Frontage Road in Arroyo Grande starting Thursday, Sept. 29 through Friday, Sept. 30.

Work at this location will occur between the hours 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to minimize congestion impacts to commuters during peak travel times.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane where necessary. Advanced warning signs will be in place, in addition to flagging staff during these work efforts. Commuter traveling through this location should expect to encounter delays of up to ten (10) minutes.

Utility information gathered at this time will be incorporated into a project design currently being developed to construct future road improvements at this location. The project will include roadway widening, new bike lanes, and a dedicated left-turn vehicle lane at the intersection of Los Berros Road and Dale Avenue.
