Temporary Road Closure for Culvert Replacement on Orcutt Road in San Luis Obispo

The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will temporarily close Orcutt Road during working hours on September 20, 2022 through September 22, 2022.

The closure is located approximately north of Biddle Ranch Road between Righetti Road and the San Luis Obispo City limit. The road will be closed to all vehicular use from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Orcutt Road will re-open outside of the 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. working hours during the replacement work. Detour signs will be posted during the closure to advise of alternate routes. Please refer to map for location.

This culvert is among 4,950+ culverts in San Luis Obispo County. A recent inspection found deficiencies with the culvert, requiring replacement.
