Traffic Delays on Los Osos Valley Road and South Bay Blvd

The County of San Luis Obispo Public Works Department began planned asphalt pavement work on Los Osos Valley Road from Turri Road to the Los Osos Creek Bridge on Nov. 7 and expects to complete the work by Dec. 9, weather permitting.

New fiber optic cables are being installed along South Bay Boulevard within the Morro Bay city limits. The private telecommunications company, Zayo Group from Boulder, Colo., has contracted with Leo Tidwell Excavating Corporation for the installation of new fiber optic cables. The installation is expected to be complete by Nov. 23.

WHAT TO EXPECT: One-way traffic control and delays during major operations Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Los Osos Valley Road and South Bay Blvd.

Motorists are advised to adjust their travel plans in consideration of the delays, especially during the morning commute. Please see maps for road locations.
