The SLO Department of Child Support Services is moving office locations and will open in their new building June 15, 2026.

The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) is excited to share their office has moved locations. Beginning June 15, 2026, the new office location for DCSS is 277 South St. Suite R, San Luis Obispo. The move is part of the County’s ongoing commitment to providing efficient, accessible, and fiscally responsible services to the community.

The new location offers ease of access for participants with features including reserved no-cost parking and walkability from local businesses and bus routes. “We are eager to increase accessibility to our participants,” says Kelsey Hurst, an employee of DCSS. “Making it easier to walk in and talk directly to a case worker regarding the specific needs of your case will be much easier in this new space, and we look forward to better serving our community.”

“This relocation marks an exciting new chapter for our Department, providing an opportunity to enhance our operations while continuing to deliver high-quality services to the community,” said DCSS Director Micaela Anthony. “The move also reflects our commitment to responsible stewardship of public resources and long-term fiscal sustainability.”

Participants that are unable to visit the office are encouraged to use one of the many virtual resources the department has available, all of which are encouraged during the move transition. Participants may contact their caseworker through Customer Connect, via email to [email protected], or call (866) 901-3212 to speak with a child support professional.
