Bad Check Program Closure Notice
The District Attorney’s Office has closed its Bad Check Program, effective immediately. Local businesses that receive bad checks should now report these incidents directly to their local law enforcement agency for investigation. While the administrative program has ended, the District Attorney’s Office remains fully committed to the fair and aggressive prosecution of criminal bad check cases referred to our office. We continue to prioritize protecting businesses and holding offenders accountable through the appropriate legal process.
