_{Retirement Acknowledgement Procedure:}
 

1. _{Peace officers or non-sworn employees with 25 years or more of county service will be entitled to a formal Board of Supervisors resolution and presentation.}

2. _{Peace officers or non-sworn employees with 20 – 24 years of county service will be entitled to a Board of Supervisors resolution on the consent agenda with no presentation.}

3. _{Each Chief Deputy Probation Officer will be responsible for confirming with any retiree in their division if they would like a resolution.  Chief Deputies will draft the resolution.}

4. _{Any plaque for peace officers will be handled by the SLOCPPOA and include the mounting of the officer’s current badge.}

5. _{The Chief Probation Officer will be responsible for the replacement badge.}
