The Data & Performance Committee (formerly the Finance & Data Committee) functions as the governing body for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). The Committee shall provide oversight to the HMIS Lead and ensure compliance with the CoC Program Interim Rule and any HMIS requirements prescribed by HUD. It will balance the needs of all stakeholders in determining policy and the community's vision for HMIS management. To achieve this, the committee will complete the following:

• Review and approve HMIS Policies and Procedures
• Encourage full adoption and implementation of HMIS for the coordination of services within the Continuum of Care
• Review and approve annual HUD reports including the Point in Time Count and Systems Performance Measures
• Utilize HMIS reporting tools to evaluate effectiveness of homelessness interventions and projects
• Report activities to the Full HSOC as needed
