Only owners of business personal property may file a review.

This service is provided free of charge.
When and where is this service offered?
This service is available July 1st through December 31st of each year. The Business Property Assessment Review Request should be mailed to our San Luis Obispo office.

Please call the Assessor's office and discuss your assessment with one of our Auditor Appraisers, or you may file a Buisness Property Assessment Review Request with our office or a formal assessment appeal with the County Clerk-Recorder.
When you file an assessment review you will need to supply information to support your opinion of value. This could be financial records such as depreciation schedules or appraisals for equipment similar to yours, or blue book valuations of your boat or aircraft.
