CSA 10/10A - Cayucos Area
County Service Area 10 operates and maintains the Cayucos Water Treatment Plant (CWTP).

Water is delivered from the pristine Whale Rock Reservoir and is treated at CWTP via a three-step process consisting of Clarification, Filtration and Activated Carbon Polishing. Once treatment is completed the water is delivered to the three water purveyors who serve Cayucos:
- Cayucos Beach Mutual Water Company
- Morro Rock Mutual Water Company
- CSA 10A (County‑operated)
- Formed 3/22/1994
- Serves south end of Cayucos
- Water Source: 190 AFY Whale Rock Reservoir
- Supplemental Water: 40 AFY Nacimiento Water Project via an exchange agreement with City of SLO

CSA 10/10A MeetingsCayucos Community Advisory CouncilCounty staff works closely with the Cayucos Citizens Advisory Council to make sure the needs of the community are met. Budgetary and planning consideration are made on a meet and confer basis giving multiple levels of community oversight. When: 1st Wednesday of the Month at 7PM The Cayucos Area Water Organization (CAWO)The Cayucos Water Treatment Plant and the Cayucos Area Water Organization collaborate closely on planning future infrastructure upgrades and plant improvements. Because the treatment plant is jointly owned, all stakeholders are kept informed of major maintenance needs. When: 1st Monday of odd numbered months at 1:30PM
