Mental Health Services Act Annual Update Posted for 30-Day Public Review

The Behavioral Health Department has released its Annual Update of Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) plans and programs.


As required by state law, the Department must prepare an annual update to its three-year MHSA spending plan. The Act also requires all plans and updates to be made available to the public for a period of 30 days, ending with a public hearing. The Update features information on all MHSA programs, the community stakeholder planning process, fiscal projections, and results from the 2017-2018 fiscal year.
 
The MHSA Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Annual Update to the Three-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2017-20, is available now for review and comment from October 23 through November 21, 2018. A public hearing to receive comment regarding the Update will be held on November 21 as part of the regular Behavioral Health Board meeting at 3pm.
