Monday March 16, 2026

  1. Welcome: The meeting was called to order at 3:24 PM.
  2. Public Comment: None
  3. Approval of the CCP Minutes from December 15th, 2025: A motion was made by Dan Dow and seconded by Frank Warren to approve the CCP minutes from December 15th, 2025. All in favor, motion carried.
  4. Program and Grant Updates
    1. Restorative Partners Restorative Justice Conferencing Program:  Committee members received a report from Restorative Partners regarding the above-named program. Restorative Partners has been actively working with Probation to address barriers to program participation and to further develop the program.  After the presentation, there was discussion around how local law enforcement agencies may be able to support the program. Arresting officers often have good rapport with both victims and defendants. Chief Watkins pointed out that officers would love to see people make a positive change and would be motivated to help in any way they can.
    2. Agency report outs:
      • Frank Warren reviewed changes coming for the Health Agency.
      • Behavioral Health received a Prop 47 grant, focusing on the 11395 population by providing treatment and community supports. These funds have been accepted by the Board of Supervisors and Behavioral Health is moving towards hiring staff and signing contracts for additional services.
      • April is National Crime Victim Awareness month. There will be an event to acknowledge such, hosted by Victim-Witness, on April 15 at 11am at the Board of Supervisors.
      • Restorative Partners is having a mixer March 18 at 5:30pm at their new office.
      • Probation has approval to add a Probation Assistant using Opioid Settlement Funds to work with the 11395 population.
