The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA APHIS) have been notified of new shipments of unsolicited packages of seeds that appear to be coming from China and other foreign sources.

Weights & Measures: 2024 Inspection Sweep for Skimmers

During the heavily traveled 2024 Thanksgiving holiday, County Weights and Measures inspectors conducted an additional concentrated sweep of inspections consisting of 294 gas pumps at 34 stations throughout the county. Inspectors did not detect any fraudulent devices during this special effort.
