- There are many components to ensuring election security, transparency, and accuracy. The public is invited to observe two specific processes that support all of these things: Logic & Accuracy Testing, which begins April 30 at 9:00 am in the Elections Center, and the 1% Manual Tally, which will begin June 16 (start time TBD). LAT confirms that each of the tabulators is functioning properly prior to the election, and the 1% tally confirms by a hand count of randomly selected ballots that those results match what the tabulators have compiled.
