Cayucos Library will be open an additional day beginning December 2nd, as part of a six-month pilot project to gauge interest in additional hours.

San Luis Obispo, CA – The Cayucos Library will open an additional day beginning December 2. This is part of a six-month pilot project to gauge interest in additional hours. If there is sufficient interest from the community, the new schedule will likely be permanent. The new hours of operation will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 6pm and Friday from 10am to 5pm. Currently, the library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

"Cayucos Library is a busy little branch that is about to get even busier,” said San Luis Obispo Library Branch Manager Aracelli Astorga. “By offering more hours of service, the Library hopes to better serve the Cayucos community."

The Cayucos Library is located at 310 B Street, a half mile from the Cayucos Pier and adjacent to Cayucos Elementary School. It is one of 14 branches of the County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries.
